Jason Montague, president and chief operating officer for Regent Seven Seas Cruises, said:
“We set a high benchmark for Seven Seas Explorer, not only to build a ship that far surpasses the current standard in luxury cruising, but to design a ship that will be recognized industry-wide as the most luxurious ship ever. This ship will offer our guests a new level of grandeur throughout, from its lavish suites to its elegant public spaces and gourmet restaurants. We cannot wait to share this ship with the world when she joins our fleet in the summer of 2016.”
Seven Seas Explorer will see the addition of a new luxury suite found exclusively on board. Well-appointed and spacious accommodations will be found throughout the ship, however the grand Regent Suite, comprising of 3,875 square feet, will feature two plush bedrooms, an in-room spa retreat, which will be a first at sea, with personal sauna, steam room and treatment area. The suite also features an outdoor, glass-enclosed sitting area aptly named the Vista Garden, where guests can enjoy magnificent, unobstructed 270-degree views over the ship’s bow and the horizon. Other notable suites include the Deluxe Suite and the Penthouse Suite, all furnished to an impeccable standard.
Regent Seven Seas Explorer, will feature three specialty restaurants. The cruise line's signature steakhouse, Prime 7, will be found on board, as well as the Compass Rose main dining room and the La Veranda, a casual indoor and al fresco dining venue, featuring Italian Riviera cuisine. La Veranda will offer incredible 270-degree views open for breakfast and lunch. In the evening, the restaurant is transformed into Sette Mari at La Veranda, an elegant, fine dining restaurant.
