Royal Caribbean International's Majesty of the Seas, the oldest in the 23 ship fleet, has entered emergency dry dock after an oil leak.
A fire on board P&O Cruises' Oriana has resulted in the ship returning to the port of Miami. The incident occurred shortly before 7pm local time yesterday evening as the ship was sailing from Miami, bound for Key West.
Norwegian Cruise Line's recently refurbished 965ft Norwegian Star, is suffering from a technical issue with one of the ships azipods.

Cruise Critic members, currently on board Royal Caribbean International's Serenade of the Seas, are reporting that the ship is suffering from electrical outages after a burst water pipe flooded areas of the ship.

Reports of an abnormal vibration on board Azamara Journey, has lead maintenance crew to discover a damaged propeller.
Further inspection of the propeller, forced Azamara to cancel the current sailing and has since had to cancel the 3rd March cruise. The Azamara Journey is operating as normal, but sailing at a reduced speed. The ship is expected to arrive in Kyoto on February 28th, where passengers will be met by Azamara’s President and CEO, Larry Pimentel, and Bert Van Middendorp, Vice President of Operations. When the ship docks on 28th February, guests will remain on board the ship until March 2nd, where they will be flown to Shanghai and provided hotels for the night. The Azamara Journey was originally scheduled to disembark in Shanghai on March 3rd, but this sailing has had to be cancelled, so that maintenance can be carried out. |
