Carnival Cruise Line has announced its summer and fall 2015 line up for the cruise line's popular Carnival LIVE Concert Series. The shows will complement the talented spring lineup which includes Journey, Rascal Flatts, Little Big Town, Smokey Robinson and Styx.
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Princess Cruises and The Sound of Music, Princess Cruises will partner with Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment to screen the biggest movie musical of all time on board all 18 of its ships. As part of the celebrations, themed sing-a-longs, trivia games, and other movie-themed experiences will be hosted throughout the year.

Norwegian Cruise Lines has revealed that Norwegian Epic will host new shows when she is based year-round in Barcelona from April 2015. Priscilla Queen of the Desert - The Musical will replace current headline show, Rock of Ages starting from October 18th. Burn the Floor, which already features on board Norwegian Breakaway and Norwegian Getaway, will be updated for European guests on board Norwegian Epic, with the first performance taking place on the April 19th transatlantic voyage. A new entertainment venue, called the Cavern Club, will features sounds of the Beatles and other international musicians. The venue has been created thanks to a partnership with the owners of the original Cavern Club in Liverpool, where the Beatles made their name. The new club will open on the October 11th sailing. Drew Madsen, Norwegian Cruise Line's president and CEO, said: These new world-class entertainment offerings, along with Norwegian Epic's innovative accommodation and plethora of dining options, are the perfect combination for the European cruise market. British pop icon, Kim Wilde, will perform a special concert on board Hapag-Lloyd Cruises' Europa 2.
The 80's singer best known for her hits such as “Kids in America”, “Cambodia”, “Keep Me Hanging On” and “You Came” will perform an exclusive "unplugged" concert on board the company's luxury flagship vessel, Europa 2. At her acoustic concert on board, she will surprise guests with new sounds and perform softer versions of her more traditional rock-style hits. She will be performing on a 13-night cruise, departing on 29 May 2015 from Hamburg to Lisbon. Other ports on the itinerary include List/Sylt in Germany, Honfleur in France, Portsmouth, Guernsey, St. Malo in France, Le Palais, Bordeaux and La Coruna in Spain. Cruise-only prices start from £4,500 per person. Guests on board sister ship, Europa will also have the chance to watch Kim Wilde perform. The two ships will meet in Bordeaux and to celebrate, guests on board the Europa, will be invited on board the Europa 2, to enjoy the live and up close performance. Cruise-only prices for the 3rd June departure from Lisbon to Hamburg on board Europa start at €5,590 per person. |
