This delayed arrival, will also mean that the proceeding cruise, a 15-night voyage to Norway, will have to be modified. Azores will now sail from Portland at 8pm on Friday 27th February, taking an easterly passage through the English Channel. In order to arrive back on time, the scheduled call at Trondheim will be replaced by Alesund and Andalsnes will also be changed to Tobermory. A planned viewing of the Svartisen Glacier, will unfortunately have to be cancelled, as it will no longer be possible to visit during daylight hours. Azores will end the cruise as planned in Bristol Avonmouth on 13th March.
At the beginning of the current 30-night cruise, the ship had to change itinerary yet again, after maintenance work overran. This resulted in the cruise starting from Plymouth.
Complimentary coaches will be provided to escort guests between Avonmouth and Portland.
