Crystal Cruises has been sold to Genting Hong Kong, by their current owners Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha (NYK). The acquisition which is worth $550 million, will also see a new cruise ship built for the luxury cruise brand.
In just 10 days, Cruise & Maritime Voyages is set to welcome its newest, and largest ship, Magellan, to the fleet. Cruise Capital will also be attending the naming ceremony and overnight launch event at the port of Tilbury on Thursday 12th March.
Thomson Cruises has announced that they will acquire Royal Caribbean International's Splendour of the Seas in summer 2016.
